DEATH INVESTIGATIONS

Many times the true cause of death of a loved one or a friend is not clear. Reasons for suspicion can range from a suspicious suicide, no witnesses, conflicting stories surrounding the individuals death, immediate cremation of the body by the spouse, no autopsy, or little or no actual police investigation into the death. In certain cases, deaths are made to look like an accident or a suicide to cover the murder and to obscure the true cause of death.

Deaths in rural areas and in foreign countries are often troublesome due to limited training of local law enforcement and/or a lack of resources to conduct an actual investigation. While many people believe that there simply is no other option but to depend upon the word of the local authorities or the agency who conducted the investigation, that is not correct.

Families have the right to ask questions and engage the services of a professional death investigator to ensure that everything that could be done to determine the true cause of death has been done. This type of independent third-party investigation can be as simple as reviewing the existing documents for accuracy and thoroughness of the investigation to conducting a brand new independent investigation into the death and the circumstances surrounding the individual’s death starting from scratch.

Our Chief Investigator, Jay J. Armes III, has over thirty-three years of experience conducting death investigations both domestically and abroad. On numerous occasions we have successfully obtained new evidence which has resulted in the opening of criminal investigations into deaths which were erroneously ruled as suicides, accidental death, and death by natural causes. We work diligently to get our clients the answers they seek, the closure they need, and the justice that your loved one deserves.

If you have a situation where you feel that the death of a loved one is not what it appears to be, please give us a call.
